“Behold, I Am Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World”
Jesus Christ permeates LDS Scripture in a unique way that members may not fully appreciate. Christians have the New Testament and especially the gospels, and the Old Testament with passages that are interpreted as prefiguring and prophesying the coming of Jesus. The Savior saturates modern scripture–virtually every chapter of the Book of Mormon mentions him, and in the Doctrine & Covenants, almost every section is written in the first person with Jesus as speaker!
This episode will focus on the contribution of revealed LDS scripture on understanding Jesus’ role in the Plan of Salvation. We will also explore what we learn about Jesus from each of the standard works and each of the gospels (including the meaning of Jesus’ mortal ministry), as well as focus on the importance of a personal relationship with the Savior.

Thank you so much for this work. I have no idea how you find the time for it – all of it – the lesson notes, the reading notes, the podcast. This is, I think, what I have been looking for to be able to embrace and revisit the cannon of scriptures of my faith tradition again. Thank you once more.
