You commented on the Annotated reading around Luke 22: 19-22, “This is one of the most important textual variants in the New Testament.” What variants are you talking about? I cannot follow the argument of possible missing verses and inserting from I Cor.11.

The second half of 22:19 and all of 22:20 are not original to Luke. The words “which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ And he did the same with the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood” were added, apparently from 1 Cor. 11.
Without these verses there is no theology of vicarious atonement in Luke, which is why I said this is one of the most important textual variants in the New Testament.
