229.1: Interpreting Revelation (D&C Gospel Doctrine Lesson 6, Updated)

“I Will Tell You in Your Mind and in Your Heart, by the Holy Ghost”

 

This episode update explores how we can differentiate revelation from our own thoughts, as well as the balance between individual and institutional revelation.

I propose that in order to become an expert at receiving and interpreting revelation, we must clear away what we assume, want, and fear to be true, and practice intuiting and deducing what is true. It is through our mind and heart that God speaks, and when we do our part, God can speak clearly.
