The Abrahamic Covenant
Applying the story of the Abrahamic Covenant to ourselves leads us to reflect on heritage, legacy, and covenant.
Everything we have and are is an inheritance from those who have gone before.
Our legacy stems from what we do with that heritage, how we use and transform the blessings and curses that we have inherited.
We transmit and transform those blessings and curses through covenantal love and dedicating our lives to God so that we and our legacies may be a blessing to the world.

Thanks to Trent Oliphant for updating the episodes and to Steven Nelson for the bumper music.
Wow, really loved this episode! I especially resonated with this sentiment: “How are we transmitting the privileges, and resources, and blessings that we have received? How are we cleansing, and challenging, and changing, and healing, the negatives, the curses, the hurt, the harm, and purifying that heritage, that tree, that river, so that what flows from us will be healthier and better than what came before.” So many powerful thoughts! Thanks for all your hard work Jared! – From a new and grateful listener…
