“All Things According to His Will”
I don’t think we adequately appreciate the fact that the Book of Mormon begins with the tale of a deeply dysfunctional family. This lesson begins the Book of Mormon with an invitation to read this Book of Mormon carefully, challenging and being challenged by its contents, including viewing the characters as complex humans and asking whether we can take the narrators at their word.

Thanks to Devin Roth for the bumper music.
I love the idea of reading scripture as if it were the first time you’ve read it. After having listened to the podcast for the past six months or so I can say that it’s naturally occurred that I’ve felt to be more engaged in my reading and that almost requires reading it as if it were the very first reading. This has changed my scripture study and how I participate in not only Sunday school but life in general. I couplenthat paradigm shift with a little Feynman technique and the scriptures have opened up like never before. Thanks for an awesome awesome awesome experience!
