“We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet”

Who is your favorite prophet? Do you feel particularly close to any prophet from scripture? Because the purpose of the gospel is to bring salvation to all of us, God speaks to all people, in all nations (2 Ne. 29; Alma 29:8). Thus it makes sense that there are prophets both familiar to us and those we do not yet know.
