“Come to the House of the Lord” 

The hero of this Lessons’ reading is Josiah, who listens to a prophetess and puts himself into alignment with the Lord’s will as described in the Book of the Law discovered in the temple. The behind the scenes story may be darker, but still invites us to consider topics such as ritual and reform, worship and authority.
